By using BestCall, you accept these terms. The service aims to help you prepare for the federal public service Test of Judgement (TOJ 376 and 377).
1. The service
BestCall offers scenarios, keyed ratings, a training mode and progress tracking to help candidates prepare for the Test of Judgement. BestCall is an independent practice tool: it is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Public Service Commission of Canada or the Government of Canada.
2. Scenarios and keys
The scenarios are original: they do not reproduce questions from the real test or the Commission's sample items. The keyed rating of each response reflects our analysis; it may differ from the real test's key, which is not public. Results on the platform do not predict your result or J level on the test and do not replace official preparation.
3. Artificial intelligence analysis
The training mode analysis is generated by a third-party artificial intelligence model (Anthropic). It compares your reasoning with the proposed key; it is never an official score or a reproduction of the real assessment, and it may contain errors or inaccuracies. Its use is limited per day to prevent abuse.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the platform fairly and lawfully, without compromising its security, availability or integrity, and without extracting or redistributing its content.
5. Eligibility
You must be of the age to enter into a contract in your province or territory, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to use the platform.
6. Premium access and payment
Premium access is a one-time payment, at the price shown on the Pricing page at the time of purchase, which gives 60 days of full access. Payment is processed by Stripe. It is not a subscription: nothing renews automatically and no card is kept on file. Wherever you live in Canada, you can cancel your Premium access at any time; we then refund the unused portion, prorated on the days left on the date of your request (for Quebec consumers, this is the right set out in articles 2125 and 2129 of the Civil Code of Québec). To ask, write to support@bestcall.ca.
7. Limitation of liability
BestCall strives to maintain the quality of the service and its content, including content generated by artificial intelligence. We cannot, however, guarantee that it is error-free, that the keys or analyses are accurate, or the outcome of a test or hiring process.
8. Availability
The service may be changed, suspended or improved at any time to keep it working, secure and of good quality.
9. Intellectual property
The content of the platform, including the scenarios, keys, texts and design, is protected. Any unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.
10. Personal information
Use of the service is subject to our privacy policy, which describes how your personal information is collected, used and protected.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without depriving you of the protection of the consumer protection laws of the province or territory where you live.
